About Handasah
Handasah was founded on a simple observation: the construction SMEs that deliver most of the built environment in Egypt, UAE, and Saudi Arabia are underserved by the advisory market.
The MENA construction market is one of the most dynamic and demanding in the world. Mega-projects, rapid urbanisation, Vision 2030, and Egypt's New Administrative Capital are reshaping the region — and creating enormous opportunity for the designers, consultants, contractors, and developers who can position themselves to capture it.
But most of that opportunity flows to firms with the systems, the credentials, and the strategic capacity to compete for it. SMEs — even highly capable ones — are often locked out by prequalification requirements they cannot meet, bid processes they cannot resource, and contracts they cannot safely sign.
Handasah was founded to change that. We bring the advisory depth of a major consultancy to the firms that need it most — not as a luxury, but as a practical tool for growth, risk management, and delivery excellence.
Our founder has sat on every side of the table: as a field engineer, a contractor, a designer, a PMC, a General Manager, and a Country Manager. That breadth is what makes Handasah different — we do not advise from theory. We advise from experience.

Founder's note
A mechanical engineer and Thunderbird MBA who has led from every seat of a project: offshore field engineer, strategist, contractor, designer, PMC, General Manager and Country Manager.
His career spans oilfield services, industrial construction, design management, giga-project advisory, and executive leadership. He has structured JVs, led bid teams on $100M+ pursuits, managed distressed projects back to programme, and built BD pipelines from scratch. He speaks the language of the engineer, the commercial director, and the board — and moves fluently between all three.
Positioning
01
Oilfield services, building materials, contractors, a global designer, a PMC. I have seen the project from each seat, so I know what each party fears and wants.
02
NEOM framework, Veolia waste-to-energy EPCM, Red Sea islands elite list, Mukaab and Trojena bids. I know how owners screen and select.
03
The first AI cataloguing project with Saudi Aramco cut manual work by 70%. BI analytics lifted planning and procurement efficiency by 20%.
We work alongside your leadership team — not at arm's length. Our advice is grounded in the reality of your business, not a generic framework applied from the outside.
We measure success by what changes in your business — not by the number of reports we produce. Every engagement is structured around a clear, measurable outcome.
We understand the construction markets of Egypt, UAE, and Saudi Arabia — the procurement environments, the client cultures, the regulatory frameworks, and the commercial norms that define how business is done.
We do not over-engineer our engagements. We bring exactly the level of resource and rigour the situation demands — no more, no less. SME budgets deserve SME efficiency.
