Q. What types of services can I request?

We specialize in general home improvement, electrical, plumbing, painting, custom wood fabrication, and exterior home renovation projects. All of our specialists are licensed contractors and are highly skilled in many areas. We also do roofing, second-story exterior work, service HVAC systems, landscaping renovation and Decoration.

Q. How long does it take to get an appointment?

Instantly! For larger jobs we schedule 1 to 3 days in advance but most probably we will be able to fit you in the next day.

Q. Who are your technicians/handymen?

All of our technicians are licensed contractors and have multiple years of experience before working with us. Additionally, they go through our rigorous vetting and assessment process before being sent out to you. We specialize in home improvement, electrical, plumbing, painting, custom wood fabrication, child-proofing, junk removal, appliance installation, and exterior home renovation.

Q. Is my estimated price accurate?

We pride ourselves on transparent and upfront pricing. To ensure customer satisfaction, we always strive to safe side our estimates and come in under budget. However, very occasionally unforeseen circumstances can change the work scope and make the final payment higher than the original estimate. If this occurs, one of our professionals will be able to assess the additional cost once they are on-site and update you with the estimated cost of your project.

Q. What should I expect on the day of service?

On the day of service one of our professionals will come out to your house at the scheduled start time. If they are running late, we will notify you. Your professional will treat you and your property with respect while they complete the project and clean up the area they are working in after themselves. When the project/task is complete, they will invoice you for the completed work. We are always available via our app, phone or text during the whole process if any questions should arise.

Q. What is your billing process?

Payments are due at the time of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Vodafone Cash, Fawry, and cash on site.

Q. What is your service area?

Our main office located in Banha, Qalubiya and have offices in Maadi and New Cairo and we service the whole country.

Q. Are the estimates free?

Yes!  The technician (handyman) will view the project and give an estimate for a lump sum.

Q. Do you charge by the hour or the job?

We do NOT charge by the hour.  We give an estimate for a complete project.  By not charging hourly, we remove the risk of the project taking longer and ultimately costing the customer more than the estimate. Our ‘labor’ bid will not change unless requirements change during the project. The ‘material’ estimate may be higher/lower, depending upon the actual cost. Keep in mind, you will pay our hourly rate for handyman’s time spent procuring materials for your job.

Q. Can I choose the material colors and manufacturers?

Yes!  We leave the choices to you!  You pick the paint colors or the material color.  You can even choose the manufacturer if you desire.  You can also leave the selection of the manufacturer to us.  We only use high quality manufacturers.

Q. Can I trust the handyman in my home or office?

All of our technicians go through a thorough screening process. We know that trust is a major factor when you have someone coming into your home or business, so we make certain all of our technicians are prompt, clean, and professional!

Q. Will you really get back to me within 24-48 hours? Even on the weekends?

Yes. We have created a smooth and efficient process that will allow us to give you an estimate even when we are on the road or not in the office.

Q. Is there a job minimum?

Yes. We do require a 25 EGP minimum for any repair call/Request, and this does not include the cost of materials.

Q. How long will it take?

It depends. Our typical repairs take anywhere from 1-8 hours depending on the complexity of the project. Our goal and mission is to get you back to your home, or business, as soon as possible.

Q. How soon can you get here?

We can typically be at your home or business within 1-2 hours.

Q. Why can’t you just give me a quick estimate over the phone?

In order for us to accurately give you an estimate, we need to see as many details about the project as possible. We want to review the project with our team prior to coming out, so we can accurately diagnose the repairs needed and provide you with the most accurate estimate possible.

Q. Are the repairs guaranteed?

Yes. All labor and workmanship provided Handasah on all repairs are guaranteed for one year from the date of the final invoice.

Q. Are you licensed and insured?

Q. Do you provide plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical services?

Yes, we do. We work hand-in-hand with our fully licensed and insured mechanical teams to provide these types of services. We have taken the time and vetted the best in the area so that you don’t have to.

Q. Do I purchase the materials or do you?

Materials are either provided by you, or you may opt to have us purchase them for you. We always strive to find the best deal for your money without compromising quality.  Keep in mind, you will pay for the time we spend acquiring your materials.

Q. If I provide a list, and show you what I need — do I have to be home while you do the work?

Many of our customers feel comfortable leaving us a key or arranging access to their property, so we can handle their request/s while they are at work.

Q. Why do so many other handymen NOT show up or fail to return my calls?

Handyman services sometimes consists of an unemployed guy with some tools, trying to get by. Many aren’t running an actual business, likely require cash payment only, and do not take the job seriously. We hear stories all of the time about ‘no shows’ and ‘lack of responsiveness’ from these types of handymen.

Q. I have an emergency - can you help me NOW!?

We do our best to assist in emergency situations. We will re-arrange our schedule to accommodate, if at all possible.

Q. Do you work on weekends (Friday and/or Saturday)?

Yes, we work 7 days a week. Weekend appointments book up quick, so it is best to plan ahead if you need Friday or Saturday service.

Q. Cancellation Policy?

We require a 3 hours cancellation notice to avoid being charged the full amount of the original estimate. If the cancellation is a result of emergency situations and unexpected, we will not charge you any amount.
